As part of the rollout this summer of the administrative evaluation process, CAS will be presenting workshops throughout the summer at regional educational service centers.

The workshops will provide all administrators with a good grounding in the process of administrative evaluation under the state guidelines, and the workshops are particularly directed toward those administrators who have evaluative responsibilities for other administrators (central office staff and building principals who evaluate their assistants).

While all components of the evaluation process will be covered, particular emphasis will be placed upon the collection of evidence concerning leadership practices and the rating of such practices against the CSDE’s leadership rubric.

Workshops will be offered at the following sites and administrators may register through the appropriate RESC for any one of the workshops. Recognizing the vacation schedules and summer scheduled tasks may preclude registering at your RESC, all workshops are open to administrators across Connecticut.
