School Entered Directions Rocky Hill HS (50 Chapin Avenue, Rocky Hill, CT, 06067) is the site for the following: Soccer, football, volleyball, marching band competitions, swimming, basketball, wrestling, softball (JV) track, tennis, lacrosse. *PARKING NOTE - Parking at the high school for big events (ie. football, state tournament soccer, CCC and state basketball tournaments) is limited. Additional parking can be found in the lot on the corner of Silas Deane Highway and Chapin Avenue, or at the middle school which is behind the high school (see directions below). Ice Hockey plays out of the Champions Skating Center, 6 Progress Drive, Cromwell, CT 06416. Baseball games are played at Griswold Middle School, directly behind the high school on Bailey Road. Varsity Softball games are played at Elm Ridge Park (Elm Street, Rocky Hill, CT, 06067) Golf plays out of Rolling Greens Golf Club (Cold Spring Road, Rocky Hill, CT, 06067) Cross Country runs at Elm Ridge Park, effective 9/1/05 Rocky Hill HS - Route 91 exit 24 (Silas Deane Highway - Route 99). Take Silas Deane Highway South (right turn on 99 if travelling South on 91, left turn on 99 if travelling North on 91). Take route 99 for about 1 mile. After passing McDonalds, take 1st right onto Parsonage Street (**see parking note above). Take 1st left onto Chapin Ave. School is on the right. Elm Ridge Park - Route 91 exit 24 (Silas Deane Highway - Route 99). Take Silas Deane Highway South (right turn on 99 if travelling South on 91, left turn on 99 if travelling North on 91). Take route 99 for about 1 1/2 mile. Take a right on Elm Street (Whole Donut on corner). Go about 1/2 mile. Park is on the left. Griswold Middle School - Route 91 exit 24 (Silas Deane Highway - Route 99). Take Silas Deane Highway South (right turn on 99 if travelling South on 91, left turn on 99 if travelling North on 91). Take route 99 for about 1 mile. After passing McDonalds, take 1st right onto Parsonage Street. Take the third left onto Bailey Road. School is 1/4 mile on the left. Rolling Greens Golf Club - Route 91 exit 23 (West Street). Take West Street West (right turn on West Street if travelling South on 91, left turn on West Street if travelling North on 91). Go until West Street ends at Cromwell Avenue - take a left. At first light, take a right on Cold Spring Road. Golf course is about 1 mile on the left. Champions Skating Center - From RHHS, turn right onto Parsonage St. Turn left onto CT-99 N. Turn left to merge onto I-91 S toward New Haven. Merge onto I-91 S. Take exit 21 for CT-372 toward Cromwell/Berlin. Turn right onto CT-372 W/Berlin Rd. Turn right onto Sebethe Dr. Turn left onto Progress Dr. Turn right and then take a slight left and the Skating Center will be on the right. |
