School Entered Directions DIRECTIONS TO PUTNAM HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS FACILITIES 152 WOODSTOCK AVE. PUTNAM, CT 06260 (860) 963-6905 (MAIN), (860) 963-6914 (ATHLETIC OFFICE) PUTNAM HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM - VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL From the South: Take Rte. 395 North. Use exit 95 and take a right off the ramp. Proceed about 1 mile to intersection of Kennedy Dr., and Rte. 44. Go straight through intersection and take the next left onto Bridge St. At stop sign, go straight across (Bridge St. becomes Woodstock Ave.). School entrance is approximately ½ mile on the left. Gym entrance is on the far right of the building. From the West: Take Rte. 84 East. Take exit 69 (Rte. 74) and turn right off of exit onto Rte. 74. Follow to Rte. 44. Take a left onto Rte. 44 East toward Putnam. Once you enter Putnam you will pass Day Kimball Hospital on your right, continue to first light. Take a left at the light. Take your next left onto Bridge St. At stop sign, go straight across (Bridge St. becomes Woodstock Ave.). School entrance is approximately ½ mile on the left. Gym entrance is on the far right of the building. ST. MARIE/GREENHALGH SPORTS COMPLEX – VARSITY FOOTBALL, VARSITY SOCCER, CROSS COUNTRY, TRACK AND FIELD From the South: Take Rte. 395 North. Use exit 95 and take a right off the ramp. Proceed about 1 mile to intersection of Kennedy Dr., and Rte. 44. Go straight through intersection and take the next left onto Bridge St. At stop sign, go straight across (Bridge St. becomes Woodstock Ave.). You will go past the entrance to Putnam High School on the left. At next stoplight (Cumberland Farms on the right), turn left onto Wicker Street. At bottom of hill, turn right into entrance for Putnam Elementary/Middle Schools. Take immediate left into complex entrance. From the West: Take Rte. 84 East. Take exit 69 (Rte. 74) and turn right off of exit onto Rte. 74. Follow to Rte. 44. Take a left onto Rte. 44 East toward Putnam. Once you enter Putnam you will pass Day Kimball Hospital on your right, continue to first light. Take a left at the light. Take your next left onto Bridge St. At stop sign, go straight across (Bridge St. becomes Woodstock Ave.). You will go past the entrance to Putnam High School on the left. Take immediate left into complex entrance. MURPHY PARK - BASEBALL, JV/FROSH FOOTBALL From the South: Take Rte. 395 North. Use exit 95 and take a right off the ramp. Proceed about 1 mile to intersection of Kennedy Dr., and Rte. 44. Go straight through intersection and take the next left onto Bridge St. At stop sign, go straight across (Bridge St. becomes Woodstock Ave.). Take 3rd left onto Recreation Park Rd. Continue approximately ½ mile, entrance to park is on the left. The baseball field is next to the National Guard Armory. From the West: Take Rte. 84 East. Take exit 69 (Rte. 74) and turn right off of exit onto Rte. 74. Follow to Rte. 44. Take a left onto Rte. 44 East toward Putnam. Once you enter Putnam you will pass Day Kimball Hospital on your right. Continue to the bottom of the hill and turn left onto Sabin St. Take your first right onto Recreation Park Rd. Take your first left onto Keech St. Park entrance will be on your left. OWEN TARR FIELD - SOFTBALL, JV SOCCER From the South: Take Rte. 395 North, use exit 97 (Rte. 44), and take a left off the ramp. Continue straight, approximately ½ mile to intersection of Rte. 44 and Providence St. The field is located at this intersection. Take a right at light; the entrance to the park will be on your left. From the West: Take Rte. 84 East – Take exit 69 (Rte. 74) and turn right off of exit onto Rte. 74, Follow to Rte. 44. Take a left onto Rte. 44 East toward Putnam. Once you enter Putnam you will pass Day Kimball Hospital on your right. Continue to follow Rte. 44 through two sets of traffic lights. At your third set of lights take a left onto Providence St. (Rte. 171); the entrance to the park will be on your left. CONNECTICUT NATIONAL C.C. - GOLF From the South: Take Rte. 395 North to exit 97. Turn right onto Rte. 44, then (see below) From the North: Take Rte. 395 South to exit 97. Turn left onto Rte. 44, then (see below) Follow Rte. 44 for about 3.5 miles and turn right, (first right after East Putnam Fire Dept.), onto East Putnam Road.
