School Entered Directions FAIRF1ELD WARDE HIGH SCHOOL, 755 MELVILLE AVENUE, 06825, 255-8449 Tretreau Davis Field is the Turf Field directly behind the high school. I-95 North: - Take Exit 24, Black Rock Turnpike). At end of the exit take a left and go under I-95. Bear left under the bridge. At the stop sign go straight and then take a left. Immediately there is another stop sign. *Take a right onto Black Rock Turnpike. Continue until you come to Knapps Highway on your right. Turn right and continue to Melville Avenue. Take a left onto Melville Avenue and the school will be on your left. I-95 South: Take Exit 24(Black Rock Turnpike). At the end of the exit take a right. This immediately intersects with Kings Highway. Take a left and get to the right. Follow directions from the * above. Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) North: Take Exit 46 (Route 59). Take a right at the light at the end of the exit. Get to your left at the light immediately in front of you. Turn left onto Rt. 59 South. At the second light, turn right onto Cornell Road. Follow Cornell Road to the end—you will be facing Fairfield Warde High School. Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) South: Take Exit 46 (Rt. 59) At the end of the exit, take a right and go to the light. At the light take a right onto Route 59 South. At your 3rd light, take a right onto Cornell Road. Follow to the end—you will be facing Fairfield Warde High School. FAIRFIELD WOODS MIDDLE SCHOOL I-95 North to exit 22, Round Hill Road. Left at 1st light onto North Benson Road.* I-95 South to exit 22, North Benson Road. Right at bottom of ramp onto North Benson Road.* *Continue north on North Benson Road to the 4th traffic light and turn right. The school is on the right. (At the 3rd light you will be on Stillson Road, at the 4th light Fairfield Wood Road.) TUNXIS HILL PARK From FHS, proceed south on Melville Avenue. Turn right on Nordstrand Avenue. Field is on the right. I-95 North: Take exit 24 (Kings Highway). At the end of the exit bear left and go under the I-95 bridge. Bear right under the bridge onto Kings Highway. Continue until you come to Villa Avenue (watch for Nutmeg Bowl and Stop and Shop on left). Bear left onto Villa Avenue and continue straight. Pass 1 traffic light and 1 stop sign. Turn left onto Villa Place. The field will be directly in front of you. I-95 South: - Take exit 24 (King’s Highway) At the end of the exit take a right. At the first light, turn right onto King’s Highway. Continue until you come to Villa Avenue (watch for Nutmeg Bowl and Stop and Shop on left). Bear left onto Villa Avenue and continue straight. Immediately get to the left and proceed to the light ahead of you. Turn left onto 59 South. Continue to the 4th light. Turn right onto Villa Avenue. Go through one stop sign and turn right onto Villa Place. The field will be directly in front of you. MELVILLE PARK From FHS, proceed north on Melville Avenue. Turn left onto Melville Drive. At the first light, turn right onto Fairfield Woods Road. At the first light, turn left onto Melville Avenue. At the second stop sign, turn right onto Melville Drive. The field is on the right. OLDFIELD SCHOOL (SENIOR CENTER), 100 Mona Terrace, Fairfield. From the Post Road turn south on South Pine Creek Road. Travel .5 mi., and turn left on Oldfield Road. At stop sign, turn right on Mona Terrace. The Driveway will be on the right. The building is on the right and the field is right after it. OWEN FISH PARK From FWHS, proceed north on Melville Avenue to traffic light. Turn right onto Fairfield Woods Road. At the next light, turn left onto Stratfield Road. Park is ½ mi. on left. 1-95 North and South: Follow the directions to Fairfield Warde High School. Continue past the school to the next light. This is Fairfield Woods Road. Turn right and get to the left at the next immediate light. Take a left onto Stratfield Road and the park is on the left. A big cannon is in front of it. Route 15 (Merritt Parkway} North and South: Follow the directions to Fairfield WardeHigh School. Before you come to Fairfield Woods Road there will be a park with a large cannon in front of it. This is Owen Fish Park. BROOKLAWN COUNTRY CLUB 1-95 North: Take exit 25 (State Street). At the end of the exit take a left. At stop sign, turn left onto Dewey Street *which will turn into Briarwood Avenue. At the end of Briarwood Avenue, turn left onto Brooklawn Avenue. Proceed straight through 1 traffic light. Turn left on Algonquin Road (1st left). Golf course is at the end of Algonquin Road. I-95 South: Take Exit 25 (State Street). At the end of the exit ramp. Turn right. At the first light, turn left onto Commerce Drive (around McDonald’s). At the stop sign, turn right onto Dewey Street. Continue from * above. Gymnastics & Cheer Academy 85 Mill Plain Rd WONDERLAND ICE RINK I-95 North and South: Take exit 27-A (Route 8-25 connector). Take Exit 5 (Boston Avenue) Stay to the left coming off the exit. At the end of the exit take a left onto Boston Avenue. You will come to a large intersection at the next light. Take a left onto Glenwood Avenue. At the stop sign take a left and the rink is straight ahead. OLD DAM ROAD FIELD I-95 North: Take Exit 21. Turn right. *Continue under railroad track and make a right onto Route 1. Continue to South Pine Creek Road and take a left. Old Dam Road will be on your left. I-95 South: Take Exit 21. Turn left then follow directions from the *above. FAIRFIELD UNIVERSITY POOL IN REC PLEX I-95 North: Take Exit 22 Round Hill Road and go straight. At 1st light turn left onto North Benson. After 2nd light, turn left into driveway of Fairfield University. Rec Plex is the 3rd building on your left. I-95 South: Take Exit 22 and turn right at bottom of ramp onto North Benson Road. After 2nd light, turn left into driveway of Fairfield University. Rec Plex is the 3rd building on your left. I-95 South: Exit 19, US 1; continue straight on Pease Avenue/Crystal Brands Road/Jelliff Lane; left on Center Street, Club on the right. |
