Take right at light (McDonald’s on right)onto Chesterfield Rd. Rte 161. School driveway is ¼ mile on left (past Flanders Fish Market). From 95 North Take exit (74) Left at light--Go straight (no turns) past McDonalds-- you are now on Chesterfield Rd Rte 161. School driveway is ¼ mile on left (past Flanders Fish Market). From 395 South Follow 395 until it turns into RT 95. Take the immediate exit (75). Take right at light (McDonald’s on right). School driveway is ¼ mile on left (past Flanders Fish Market). From the Hartford Area Take Rt 2(toward Norwich) to Rt 11 (toward Salem) Follow Rt 11 to end Turn Left onto Rt 82 At Stop Light, Take Right onto Rt 85 Follow Rt 85 for Approx 4.3 miles (To Chesterfield) Take Slight Right onto Rt 161 follow for Approx 4.5 Entrance to High School is on the right (before Flanders Fish House). BRIDEBROOK PARK(Sam Peretz Park) RT 95 S or N to exit 72 (Rocky Neck State Park). Take left at end of ramp (RT 156). Approximately 1 mile on left (Past Lyme Tavern and Niantic Fire House). ROCKY NECK STATE PARK RT 95 S or N to exit 72 (Rocky Neck State Park). Take left at end of ramp (RT 156). Take right at “Rocky Neck” sign. VETERANS MEMORIAL FIELD From N or S Rt 95 Take Exit 74 - Take Right onto 161 Go through 4 lights (Coming from south - 5 lights) Veteran's Field is on left approx .6 miles after last light - Across from Sunoco Gas Station. DIRECTIONS TO CONNECTICUT COLLEGE’S ATHLETIC COMPLEX From points south on I-95: Take I-95 North to Exit 83. Follow the long ramp down to a traffic light. At the light go left onto Williams St. Follow Williams Street through a restaurant/gas station district (Mr. G’s Restaurant make great grinders for post-game 447-0400) up a short hill to a traffic light. Make a right at the light. This is a frontage road for Route 32 North that will pass you in front of the Coast Guard Academy on the right. **You will then come to a three fairly close together sets of traffic lights. The second light is the main entrance to Connecticut College on the left. You want the third light. At this light, you will see a sign on the right that says Connecticut College Athletic Center. Take a right at this light and bear left down the hill. At the bottom of the hill is a small traffic circle in front of our athletic center buildings. For Silfen Artificial Turf Field and Track, go to the right and drive around the building to parking in the back overlooking the field. From points north on I-95: Take I-95 over the Groton-New London Gold Star Bridge. Stay to the extreme right as you exit the bridge and follow signs for Exit 84N and Route 32 North. As you exit the bridge, the road will give you three choices. Stay in the center to follow Exit 84N. Then, follow directions after the ** above. From points north on I-395 or Route 32: Take I-395 south to Exit 78 (New London). It is a left exit off of I-395. Follow the almost mile long ramp and it will merge to the right into Route 32 south. Follow Route 32 south about 3 miles until you begin to see signs saying that you are entering New London. Look for a large pedestrian walking bridge covering both of the north- and southbound lanes of Route 32. Immediately after passing under the walking bridge, make a left at the traffic light (there will be a controlled left turn signal lane). Turn left and stay bearing to the left down the hill. At the bottom of the hill is a small traffic circle in front of our athletic center buildings. For Silfen Artificial Turf Field and Track, go to the right and drive around the building to parking in the back overlooking the field. |
