School Entered Directions To Ansonia High School's fields for football and baseball at Nolan Field Complex. From the North: (from Hartford) 91 South/ Wilbur Cross Pkwy exit, Exit 17, merge onto CT 15S/Wilbur Cross Pkwy. Take CT -34 West to exit 58, toward Derby. Merge onto Route 34. Stay on RT 34 until you reach the intersection of 115s at Saint Michael's Church and Tailgaters. To get to Route 8, you must turn left and then a quick right to get on Route 8 North. Stay on Route 8 to exit 19. At the end of the exit ramp turn right at the light and Nolan Field will be about a half mile on the right. Turn into the parking lot at the stop sign at the intersection of Wakelee Avenue and Franklin Street. From the North: (from Waterbury) CT Rt8 South toward Naugatuck/Bridgeport. Take exit 19 in Seymour onto Derby Avenue (the ramp is on the right). Follow up to the traffic light (DO NOT TURN AT THE LIGHT) Continue on the main road over the bridge over Route 8 pass John j. Sullivan's Restaurant. Through the traffic light until the next stop sign at the intersection of Wakelee Avenue and Franklin Street (AT THE FORK) the Nolan Field parking lot is on your right. To Ansonia High School for Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball. DO NOT USE MAPQUEST BECAUSE MAPQUEST TAKES YOU TO THE OLD HIGH SCHOOL WHICH IS NOW THE MIDDLE SCHOOL ON HOWARD AVENUE. Stay on Rt 34 for approximately 3 miles to the intersection of Route 115N Go straight at this major intersection onto RT 115(St. Michael's Church is on the right; Tailgators is on the left. Go to the second stop sign, this is the Ansonia town line. At the traffic light bear to the right onto Route 243 (Elm Street then Platt and then Prindle Avenue). Make sure to always head up the hill!!The road winds to the left before the stop sign to turn on to Pulaski Highway. ( For Soccer both boys and girls before reaching the stop sign there is a right turn into Chargers Field--the soccer fields are here and so is the JV softball field.) (For varsity softball and basketball) Go to the stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Pulaski Hwy for the school which is the first right on Pulaski Hwy. From the South from Norwalk: Take I 95 North toward Trumbull/Waterbury. Take CT 25/CT 8 exit 27A. Follow CT 8 North towards Shelton/Waterbury to Exit 15 in Derby. At the end of the ramp, take a right, getting into the far left lane. Proceed straight to the second set of lights over the bridge and take a left onto Route 115. Go to the second stop sign, this is the Ansonia town line. Just before the traffic light ber to the right onto Route 243 (Elm Street then Platt and then Prindle Avenue). From the Merritt Parkway: Take the parkway toward New Haven. In Trumbull take CT RT 8 North exit 52. Follow Route 8 into Derby to Exit 15. At the end of the ramp, take a right, getting into the far left lane. Proceed straight to the second set of lights over the bridge and take a left onto Route 115. Go to the second stop sign, this is the Ansonia town line. Just before the traffic light ber to the right onto Route 243 (Elm Street then Platt and then Prindle Avenue).
